This program of 11 Days fly-in Tanzania – drive-out safari takes you to a very beautiful safari destination you’ll explore the wildness for 11 days in the Serengeti, crater tour in Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire Game drive tour.

Maximize your time on the Serengeti with this once-in-a-lifetime fly-in safari to explore the world-famous Serengeti National Park. You’ll fly directly to the heart of the action in pursuit of the Wildebeest Migration and witness this amazing natural phenomenon up close and personal.
Later finish your trip with a visit to the stunning Ngorongoro Conservation Area to ensure you ‘collect’ the entirety of the Big Five by spotting the endangered black rhinoceros and the unassuming Cape buffalo. Explore Lake manyara and Tarangire too.
DAY 1: ARRIVAL –KILIMANJARO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (JRO)
On your arrival, our dedicated Travelcation Africa Safaris guide will meet you in the customer area immediately after arrival and welcome you to the gracious and beautiful country of Tanzania. He’ll have your name posted on a sign and will issue your Tanzania VISA, making your arrival easy and efficient.

DAY 2-5: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK (NORTHEN PART)
After a good night’s sleep, you will venture out to the famous National parks of Tanzania in your private vehicle after a short flight, in the middle of the action right away.
Our outstanding safari guide, who will be your companion and at your services throughout your entire safari here in Tanzania, will be in the Serengeti awaiting your arrival at the KOGATENDE airstrip.
Local to Tanzania yet fluent in English, your guide will well educate about the local Wildlife, Geology, Ecology, and Cultures. He will know all the secret spots to optimize your wildlife viewing and how to avoid the crowds from the packaged tour groups.
ATTRACTIONS TO EXPLORE IN NORTHERN SERENGETI
- The great wildebeest migration
- River crossing, Big five (elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion & leopard)
- Big cats (leopard &cheetah)
- Giraffes, Hippos, Crocodiles, Elands, warthogs, Topi, hartebeests, baboons, vervet monkeys, hyenas, bat-eared fox.

DAY 5-7: GAME DRIVE (CENTRAL SERENGETI)
After the breakfast in the camp/hotel, you board on the jeep, ready to leave for CENTRAL SERENGETI for two nights. There is no better place in Africa to watch large carnivores (lions, hyenas, leopards, cheetah, jackal, vultures) in action like Central Serengeti.
Apart, from those, there are also Giraffes, Black rhinos, elephant’s troops of a baboon, topi, hartebeests, resident zebras, Thomson & grand gazelles, vervet monkeys, elands, and varieties of birds.

DAY 7-9: SERENGETI – NGORONGORO
After a late breakfast, it’s time to head to Ngorongoro. The drive is a game drive all of its own, and your driver will do his best to ensure you spot the Big Five, Wildebeest Migration, or whatever else your heart might desire along the way.
Once you’ve left the park, you can continue directly to your accommodation to relax. Alternatively, you may wish to experience one or both of the below optional cultural activities:
Oldupai Gorge Museum: Sometimes known as the Cradle of Mankind, the Oldupai Gorge Museum commemorates some of the oldest evidence of human habitation ever found. Here you can see some of the oldest fossil evidence in the world of human habitation, visit the Oldupai Gorge Museum to learn more about the human journey, and take in the stunning views of this stark gorge country.
Maasai boma visit: Pay a visit to one of the famous Maasai bomas, where you’ll have the opportunity to witness (and participate in) traditional Maasai dance, tour an authentic Maasai village, and even do a little souvenir shopping at the local market.
Both of the above activities attract an additional cost. Speak with your safari expert about adding them to your itinerary.
You’ll then drive back to your accommodations for dinner and a good night’s sleep
DAY 10: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK VIA TARANGIRE
Head off to Lake Manyara National park for a short game drive then to Tarangire National Park, where ancient baobab trees tower over some of the largest herds of elephants in all of Africa.
Keep a lookout for hundreds of bird species Tarangire is known for – and dramatic interactions between predator and prey at the park’s watering holes.

DAY 11: BACK TO ARUSHA
After enjoying the breakfast in the lodge or camp you will start driving back to Arusha for hot lunch in the hotel and day room as well.
At 4; 30pm you will have your early dinner then at 5:00 pm you will leave the lodge for the Kilimanjaro international airport for flying back home.
